Saturday reading.

Took Friday off – I’ve been fighting off a cold (or many colds?) for the last week or so, and was fighting something else off the week before, so this weekend seemed like a good time for a four day weekend. I’m reading my way through Henry James’ The Reverberator – a story about scandal and gossip that doesn’t feel at all removed from the tabloid culture we have now. So far, so good…though as I’m reading it, I keep thinking about how it could easily be remade into a contemporary story. With TMZ, Twitter, and Facebook.

Grad school is done. Now reading whatever the heck I want.
This is a Henry James novel I am unfamiliar with, sounds like I must remedy that.
I’m reasonably certain Henry James would DIE if he was confronted with Twitter.
