The rising sun.

I don’t know how it can be the end of February already – it feels like it only just started, doesn’t it? We had snow earlier this week, but it’s melted away. The mornings are still quite cold and frosty, but the afternoons have been warmer. Not warm, but warmer. That one whiff of spring I thought I smelled a couple of weeks ago has gone.
Mind you, today was the first morning that the rising sun was in my eyes as I walked to work. The sun! The sun! And then…ah! the sun! my eyes!

Grad school is done. Now reading whatever the heck I want.
I’ve been seeing the sun in the morning when I leave and again in the evening when I go home, and it’s seemed amazing! Surely it’s some kind of trick.
Fastest year ever. I swear, if we blink it will be Christmas. ;)
